Hey B ... would you be up for a brief interview for my April issue? I'd love to have a little companion piece to our Darren Woods profile. I know you're busy, but it'll be painless. meda@360westmagazine. 817-688-2545

Patience Bret. The servers must be busy. Surprised you don't have it yet... you'll get it... and when you do ... you'll know.

Great to see you, Craig! Just got back into town today. Looking forward to a few days in the office before going back on the road. Redwood City is possibly the coolest town I've been in. Very cool. I can understand why you're so fond of it. Later.

My Favorite Scene from Glengarry Glen Ross ...

... is scene 3. I've reproduced a passage from the scene here ... which is ***extremely profane*** so if you're offended by extreme profanity, you should skip this post.

I love this scene because it really drives one of the main messages of the play. Here is a guy that really draws you in. He's a sales guy (Roma) but you don't know that yet. He seems like he's a very thoughtful (if crass) man who has discerned the meaning of life and is giving a lecture on the evils of materialism. But

One Bag for Europe

So here's the deal. I'm only taking one bag to Europe for three weeks - and it's carry-on. Can it be done? I don't know. I have to pack three types of clothes (business, casual and exercise), my computer, my iPod (and supporting peripherals), something to read and a bunch of other stuff. And I'm doing it all in one carry-on bag (a Red Oxx Air Boss to be specific). I've had to learn a new style of packing (bundle wrapping) a system for washing my clothes on

Never take a camera ....

Despite the best advice I ever received from my father, I will be taking a camera. By the way - he was talking about fishing. "Never take a camera - you won't catch anything." I plan to capture some video of our trip to London and Amsterdam and upload it here. These videos will be a little jucier than the ones I post on the Starr Tincup blog (at least I hope they are). Anyway - check in every now and again.

Happy Halloween!

Halloween is Jennifer's favorite holiday. So, in honor of my wife, I'm going to tell a scary story today.

I'll tell you the short version.

Shortly after Jennifer and I started dating, we decided to take a trip together. You know how those first trips are - trying to figure out if you can travel together, what it means for the future of the relationship, all that stuff. So we decided to go to Costa Rica for 10 days. We traveled from coast to coast (
